Sound is for everyone.

One of the things I like about music is how universal it can be. We don’t have to speak the same language to connect through a piece of music. It gives us another way to understand and share something with each other.

I think that openness should extend to making things, too. Tinkering with sounds and trying to make music should be something everyone feels entitled to explore. There’s room to be curious, to try things, and to see what comes out of it.

I also transcribe and arrange music. When I couldn’t find a piano transcription of Casanova, I made one and shared it on MuseScore. That sits alongside my experiments with sound through software and the web.
